None of the above. Tectonics and volcanism depend mostly on the heat from the core and its impact on the mantle. Heat and pressure from the inner earth create the magma erruptions. This drives the plates as well as creating volcanos. Mass is a factor to some extent but I wouldn't call it "mostly".
