How can I get my parents to see that social interaction and fun are irrational ? I have other things to do?

Look you have to understand that if you truly collected any kind of data about people through observation and experience you would understand that human beings are social animals. We need interation in order to maintain sanity, even if you find it irrational. Yes many things that human beings commit to are irrational, such as giving into urges and making decisions based off of our emotions more commonly compared to reason. Ironically being the only rational thinking creatures in existence we tend to lean more towards our irrational aspects. We shouldn't live life for the sake of "living life" because there is no true definition for what "living life" is, but rather for personal growth. From how you structured your writting and what you write about you claim to be an intellectual of some sort, but yet you fail to grasp the most important aspects that the greatest intellectuals tend to value most above reason and logic, and that my friend is what society has deprived them of from a young age,personal satisfaction obtained from others.
